The doughnut tank is situated in the spare wheel area and is a 50L tank which costs on average £32.00 to fill up at 69p a litre (approx. 260-280 miles to a tank of LPG). This equates to around 52mpg in comparison to running on petrol at current fuel pump prices. In petrol mode the car gets around 27-30mpg. The conversion also has the valve oil protection system installed which is important for Japanese LPG cars.
